We recognise at the heart of each organisation’s culture, is their why, their strategic and operational plan. Whilst there is no universally agreed strategic planning process. • Design and Test – develop and test a strategic plan prototype. 

Relying on principles of holistic Aboriginal Social Emotional Wellbeing, this is a meaningful space for leaders to develop their leadership competencies with a former Counsellor and Executive Direction. A safe and sacred space for any person managing staff who is feeling overwhelmed, lacking motivation, and systems to manage the day to day demands of people management.

 

Every client is different, but some here are some of the various outcomes clients typically strive for: 

• Learn to declutter the mind and become more productive at work and at home. 

• Develop project management and productivity systems . 

• Understand personality types and transform leadership style. 

• Learn about toxic and chronic stress and develop mindfulness techniques to stay more grounded at work.

• Gain clarity about limiting beliefs and how they impact the mindset. 

• Implement nourishing, sustainable practices to avoid burnout.

• Provide effective tools to facilitate safe, valuable and culturally informed conversations in the workforce.

Blak Wattle is highly skilled when it comes to providing tailored and thought-provoking workshops, yarning circles, dialogues and discussions. We take pride in coordinating safe and meaningful conversations that rely on ancient Aboriginal knowledge systems of deep listening, reciprocity and respect. 

 

We recognise there is no one size fits all facilitation approach, we work collaboratively to:

• Define your meeting or workshop core objectives.

• We deeply listen, observe and ask open ended and thought-provoking questions to achieve your objectives.

• We playback key insights from discussions and produce communiques and reports to close the feedback loop.

Blak Wattle also delivers a six-month program titled 'Blak Burnout' for any First Nations person, or those managing First Nations staff. It is an interactive, highly regarded, holistic, and
trauma-informed six-month program that explores key concepts related to understanding burnout, de-escalating stress, increasing reflexivity, and strengthening interpersonal connections and conversations.

What to expect:

• Bush walks, somatic activities and moving through stored stress in the body (Wuyupa)

Blak Wattle is highly skilled in the areas of Aboriginal health, Aboriginal social emotional wellbeing, and community-based health responses, with extensive and proven experience delivering co-design solutions in policy design and in a therapeutic environment.

 

We offer professional advice, guidance, and actionable solutions to governments and organisations, working as a highly motivated and organised extension of your team or organisation.

To support the continuing development of leaders and teams, Blak Wattle provides a number of masterclasses on topics such as:

Team building helps to create cohesion and connectivity in the workplace, to strengthen teams in working towards their collective goals. This can involve listening circles, yarning circles, curated conversations and fun team building activities to spark joy and a sense of share purpose back into your team or workplace.
